Do I have to see you in person? – No you don’t. We appreciate that life can be hectic so if visiting the office isn’t ideal, we’re happy to offer appointments via telephone or video call. Simply tell us what works best for you. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to meet with us in person if you prefer

How much deposit do I need for a mortgage? – Most lenders ask for a minimum deposit of 5% of the property price. So, if you’re buying a £300,000, you’d usually need at least £15,000 saved. A bigger deposit (like 10% or 15%) can help you get better mortgage deals and lower monthly payments.

Do I need to have my deposit saved now? – No you don’t have your deposit saved before speaking with us. We can help you put a plan in place to reach your savings goal and guide you to what would work for you.

Can I get a mortgage without a deposit? – Zero‑deposit mortgages do exist, although they usually come with additional criteria. Some may involve support from a family guarantor, require a strong history of renting, or offer no deposit based on your credit profile and personal situation. These 100% mortgages are typically designed for first‑time buyers who have a solid financial background but haven’t been able to save. We’re happy to talk you through the no‑deposit options available to you.

Can I get a mortgage if I’m self-employed? – Yes you can !! We work closely with our self employed customers to work out the best options for them. We love working with self employed people so get in touch.

Can I get a mortgage with previous credit issues? – Yes, it may be achievable. We have access to specialist lenders who assess applications from individuals with adverse credit, including defaults, CCJs, IVAs, debt management plans, and previous bankruptcy, especially where the issues occurred some time ago.
